Sessions on: Organ-Defined Cancers

The body may have cancer everywhere. Lung, prostate, colon, rectum, stomach and liver are among the most common cancer sites in men. And the breast, colon, rectum, lung, cervix and stomach are among females. The body part in which they emerged is often identified as cancer. Nevertheless, certain parts of the body contain many different types of tissue, and cancer can be categorized according to the type of cell arising from the tumor cells for greater accuracy. It is important to recognise the type of cancer in an individual as various cancers may act very differently and respond to various treatments.

Below are the major types of Cancer:

Sessions on: Cancer Therapy & Treatments

A variety of processes can treat cancer. The treatment choice depends on the tumor position and level, the phase and the general condition of the patient). Some new cancer treatments are being developed as well. Many cancer patients will only undergo one medication. However, most people are treated in combination, such as chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy. You may also have immunotherapy, treatment or hormone treatment.
